There will be a Guildford and Hindhead Club grading on Friday 14th July 2017 at the Guildford Spectrum, Parkway, Guildford.
Details are as follows and please note the colours refer to your present grade, not the grade you are attempting:-
- WHITE, RED (10th Kyu) & BLUE (9th Kyu) – 7.30pm
- PURPLE WHITE STRIPE(8th Kyu), PURPLE(7th Kyu) & YELLOW(6th Kyu) – 8.00pm
It is very important that you allow at least half an hour prior to the grading to book in and warm up.
The cost of the grading which is due on the evening is £38.00
Your UKSKO Licence must be up to date, PLEASE CHECK.
If you are unsure please come and see me with your grading book and licence. The licence is the pink slip inside the book. If this is your first grading you must have applied for your licence before the day of the grading.
Applying for a new or renewing an existing licence can be done online through our website at www.guildfordkarate.com/uksko-licence/
Presentation is important so please make sure your Gi (karate suit) is clean. If you do not have a calligraphy Gi then you must have a calligraphy badge sewn on your suit. You should also have your sleeves shortened to the correct length, this being half way between your wrist and elbow.
Please ensure that those with a licence book have a PHOTOGRAPH in them. I should also note that a new belt is included in the grading fee for the Guildford Club grading only.
It is NOT INCLUDED in the fee for those taking their grading at Hampton or at any other club even though the grading fee might be the same. Unfortunately it is an extra £5 for the belt if you are successful in passing.
If anyone wishes to pay the grading fee by cheque these should be made payable to ‘Busen’.
